"Gun" was a television anthology series that lasted six episodes in 1997. Each episode involved the same semi-automatic handgun as an important part of the plot. The characters each episode were completely different and appeared unrelated to those who appeared in other episodes. The series was produced by Robert Altman and attracted numerous recognizable stars including, Fred Ward, Kathy Baker, Carrie Fisher, Daryl Hannah, Randy Quaid, and Martin Sheen. The theme song was Happiness Is a Warm Gun performed by U2.

Plot: A family moving from Los Angeles has their life turned upside down when thugs try to rob the convenience store where they have briefly stopped. This episode uses the same technique as the story Occurrence at Owl Creek Bridge.
